Welcome to OMETZ – OMETZ Educational Activity is an association that has been operating for over 20 years to promote value of Jewish identity, bring people closer and strengthen the connection among the people of Israel. OMETZ operates dozens of centers across the country, from the south to the north. Our instructors and National Service soldiers operate with government educational institutions under the regulation of the Ministry of Education.
The association has set a goal to make government education system compatible with Jewish literature and Jewish identity. Operating in preschools, elementary schools, junior and senior high schools, clubs, afterschool clubs, youth movements, camps, community centers, etc. OMETZ’s educational plans are written by an experienced development team and tracks the delicate interface between being Jewish and being Israeli, emphasizing the experiential content while incorporating various methods.
