OMETZ operates in the formal education and extracurricular education system. OMETZ instructors have become an integral part of the community, and are beloved and meaningful figures for the children. OMETZ continues to adapt to the needs of the community, actively participating in various activities after regular school hours. These activities take place in clubs and regular meetings, on a need basis or based on the season or time of the year. For example, lighting of Chanukah candles, marching in the Purim parade, Lag Ba’omer bonfires, trips, children and parent events, marches on Jerusalem Day, local festivals, activities with senior citizens, etc.
