The education programs for secondary schools

With the graduation to junior high schools, focus on Jewish identity grows. At the same time, the areas of interest that accompany the children’s world significantly changes. One can mention, for example, reaching the bar/bat mitzvah age, adolescence, matriculation exams and even IDF service.

Since children at this age enjoy intellectual abilities, and since their world is far more formed and shaped than it is for elementary school pupils, OMETZ has developed over the years (in a productive discourse with schools) lesson plans and curricula that are compatible with the educational challenges of secondary school. These programs connect Judaism that is thousands of years old with the contemporary world of teens while maintaining hands-on learning without compromising any of the aspects.
